The Redington Pier is a great fishing destination, too! The Beach Trolley makes a regular route going north and south on Gulf Blvd. and is a fun way to get around. There are restaurants such as Lobster Pot, Wine Cellar and Conch Republic within walking distance. John's Pass, with a wide range or marina activities, restaurants and shops, is 2 miles to the south.
Redington Shores Yacht & Tennis Club is the newest addition to Redington Shores and is unique along the beaches... a planned community combining private single family homes and waterfront condominiums in an exclusive gated community with 24-hour security guard. The Yacht Club enjoys a Clubhouse with fitness center, game room, pool & hot tub - plus lighted tennis courts. Each of four waterfront condominium buildings have their own waterfront pool and hot tub, as well. The beautiful beach area is accessible steps across Gulf Blvd with a dedicated beach access path. John's Pass has its annual Pirate Invasion and is an active combination of marina activities, restaurants and shops. Madeira Beach offers one of the 6 routes off the barrier islands via the Tom Stuart Causeway giving it great access to St Petersburg and is minutes to the Veterans Hospital and Tyrone Mall.
